I attempted to contact the HSBC branchs, first in Knightsbridge and then Chiswick. Called the number (general number for all inquiries) and was asked for the branch sort code and then my HSBC credit card number. As I am a seeking to be a new business customer wanting to make an appointment with the branch business specialist, and expecting to be given the branch number, the questions were not applicable. Better to ask if I am a new customer as well so I can be directed to a better solution. Very disappointing. Any more and I will find another bank.

I was looking for opening hours of the Chiswick HSBC (beeing one of the very few HSBC lobbies opening late and on saturdays) but all I get is a telphone No asking for my sort code or card No.
