I disagree with the above review, I have always found Karim’s Barber shop nice and clean.
Karim’s place is a hidden gem.
His shop is refurbished and smarter than the rest, the other review is unfair.
I come all the way from Covent Garden to get my haircut here.
In Covent Garden I pay £30 pounds while at Golden Touch it is only £10 with a much better haircut and service.
But it is not the price for which I always use Karim, it it the quality of the haircut which is great.
I got my hair cut at Karim’s today the sheet he covered me with was spotlessly clean, and the shop was much cleaner than the more expensive ones at Covent Garden.
He took care and cut my haircut really well, removing the hair from my ears and trimming my moustache and beard at no extra charge.
Karim is from Tunisia, where they have a tradition of training professional hairdressers, Karim is a master barber with twenty six years experience.

Karim is amazing friendly guy.
Excellent service except for one day he had a cold and wiped his runny nose and then wiped it on my hair twice without realising it, while he gave me a haircut.
I always make it a habit of having a bath After haircut, so it’s no big deal as those combs and scissors have been through hundreds of hair and dirty too. But was the only time I felt a bit uncomfortable. I have also refused the mint tea at this saloon as he does not wash the little glasses properly.
Other than that, if you want a quick cheap haircut then his is the place to go, believe me the others in The area are just as unhygienic. I have yet to find a barber who doesn’t disinfect all his cuttings tools after each customer. The cheaper ones never provide clean laundered towels.
I am giving Karim five stars because he is the best in the Church Street area.
