I was working in the Barking Road and noticed the old fashioned style of Peter's Hairdresser's shop and felt compelled to call in for a hair-cut. I'm extremely glad I did! Sitting in his barbers chair took me back to when I was a young boy (I am almost 60 now). I was staggered to learn this charming gentleman had been practicing his trade in this very shop since 1960 and had been an accomplished hairdresser since 1955!
Peter's hairdressing skills reflect his vast and timely experience. This 80 year old man is an absolute credit to the UK's historic local shop trade. Thank you very much

I stopped in for a hair cut last Friday 4th Sept 09
Great place for a good hair cut , long opening hours. Only one moan it's a bit hard to park nearby.
I don't live local but it's worth the 30 minute drive to get there.
