St. Tropez Spa
Beauty Salon at The Broadway, 343 Uxbridge Road
I sat in this ‘spa’ what I could call a waiting room and waited for my nails to get done,, at first they cut them too short told me it was to late to change them and then messed up the shape so I have a mix of coffin and square and then once finished painting them, knockes them and smudges them(this is about 1:30hours into it) so they fix it and then tel me they are dry so I go pay they arnt dry and so they paint them again. I was there in that shop whilst it was 30•c outside in a boiling salon, didn’t get offered a drink and waited for them to make my nails look horrible. I don’t recommend this beauty salon at all!
I found the staff friendly and I am really happy with the my nails, I didn't book but they told me to wait half an hour so I went away for a while, came back and they did my nails as soon as I got back. The lady who did my nails was friendly and talkative, also I really don't blame them for speaking in their native tongue, given that English is their second language, as long as its not too much, I understand that its quicker and easier for them to understand each other that way.
Additionally, my nails were not too expensive, and I love the stone colour and shape!
If you want a manicure and all things nails, you can get it here at a great competitive price. If you are looking for a luxurious environment to feel pampered, this is not the place. Staff speak non-English to each other and when someone does speak to you, all they say is 'please, thank you and your nails will cost...'
Also shop definitely need an xtracter fan - I nearly passed out from the acrylic fumes.
Apart from that I was in and out in an hour, with great looking Shellac nails.
Would I go back? Yes, but with a packet of paracetamol just in case the fumes are too much!
Have your say
