Phoned up to get a lead time on buying a bed - given long lecture about how no staff around and sneered at a 'You don't even know what you want' - when I was making an enquiry about what might be possible. Won't EVER use them when they take that snooty and unhelpful tone.
2/10 for answering phone at least.

Buy your bed in natural un-dyed waxed pine - the timber is very skilfully selected for grain quality etc.

This wonderful company has been going for almost (I think) four decades. I bought my first double bed there (around 1980), and have just bought a bigger one in 2015. But we're holding on to the original!
The new bed is beautiful, faultless, and the staff (co-operative) are so lovely and interesting to deal with.

Cannot rate Big Table highly enough. Great customer service, excellent product and attentive after sales care. What more could one ask for. We have several Big Table beds and in a recent move lost some screws. They were delivered free of charge the next working day. Thanks Kim!

I bought a king-size bed and mattresses from Big Table 18 months ago. We chose a combination of headboard and tail from different models which was no problem at all. The bed was delivered and assembled within a week and we are very happy with it. Great quality and wonderful service. I have recommended Big Table to several friends.

Absolutely excellent beds and mattresses. We bought three beds from them in 1987, and again in 2008. Highly recommended for basic, good quality.
