Beddy Buys

I visited Beddy Buys, Hornchurch, Essex in October of 2013, and though I found the gentleman to be approachable I found his attitude to be of an old fashioned, discriminatory manner.

He informed me he didn't deliver, he didn't open Sundays, had no independent webpage and would not offer a refund if you changed your mind, returned your bed and wanted a refund.

I suggest people try another store as this one seems stuck in a time warp.

We've bought our beds here since 1985 and have never been disappointed. They are a family business and they just give good value for money, comfy beds and free delivery. Simples!

We searched everywhere for a decent bed but all the shops we tried were staffed by kids or miserable people who couldn't be bothered to talk to us. The people at Beddy Buys were really helpful, didn't pressure us and most importantly knew what they were talking about. It seems to be a family business that makes their own beds. We bought a fabulous bed that was on sale in Dreams for £599 for only £299 at Beddy Buys. We've recommended the shop to dozens of our friends and they all have been delighted. Don't know what the other reviewer is complaining about - one of our friends asked for a deposit to be returned and it was the same day with no arguments.

A word of advice only pay the minimum amount of deposit required when ordering goods, as the company do not give refunds (be aware it does state this on their receipt)
In our case before the bed was delivered the person who it was for died so the bed was no longer needed. We had paid the full amount but even under these exceptional and difficult circumstances a refund was out of the question. We are now left with a credit note.
