These guys are excellent. They do the work quickly and well. I was particularly impressed when I had a problem with my back wheel. I dropped it off in the morning and they contacted me in the afternoon saying that I had bought the wheel from them (it was several years back, and I'd completely forgotten). The wheel had developed a problem which was due to the manufacturing, so they had replaced the wheel for no cost. How cool is that?

They have serviced all my bikes at different times, and each time the bike has come back spotless and like new. All done at a very reasonable price. I like their special touch, like for instance they installed Campag brake pads on my Condor road bike, rather than cheap ones, at no extra cost!! They do repairs on the same day - sometimes while you wait. As a woman I really appreciate their calm, unpatronising way of working and always go back to them for any little repair job.

I had a complete overhaul thre including new supension forks, steering bearing, bottom bracket bearing, chain and cassette. They changed all the cables annd blocks. The bike was retuned to me spotless and running like new. The people at the shop are very friendly and knowledgeable without the cockiness you get at some bike shops. Their parts are very well priced and I thought an hour's labour for all this work was excellent value. I will certainly use them in future.

Amazingly cheap compared with Evans around the corner and they do the repairs on the same day rather than sticking you on an endless waiting list. Unlike at Evans, you talk directly with the mechanic rather than a shop front sales person. AS with another reviewer here, they tried to dissuade me from parting with unnecessary cash, finding the cheapest option. They are friendly and helpful. Definitely a good option.

I have used the shop several times for replacement parts, repair and a service. The chap is very friendly, knowledgeable and always discourages me to spent extra, unnecessary cash.

The quality of the work carried out has been good with a quick turnaround and the prices seem very reasonable.

I have and would recommend.

Horrible shop. Unnecessarily mean staff. Obstructive and unapologetic. Was referred to them by Evan as I have an unusual bicycle, but it took me just over a week to be able to get to them as they have ridiculous opening hours (close at 6pm and not open at all on the weekend) making it impossible for anyone who works fulltime. After struggling to get there during opening hours was treated extremely poorly and unreasonably. They might be cheaper than Evans but absolutely not worth it. Don't go.

I baulked at the £35 Evans on The Cut wanted to charge for a fairly simple job (replacement of brake pads). So I went round the corner and the guys at London Bicycle Repair did the job for £10! This was actually a little higher than the originally quoted £7.50 as one of the wheels needed slight realigning but at that price and for a good job, I wasn't complaining.

I would definitely go back.

It is a pity that being a small business it has limited opening hours (9-6pm), the sole reason that saw me in Evans in the first place.
