Excellent service. Took my bike in for a service and it was done within a day and was pretty cheap also (compared to Halfords, Bike Works and Evans). The guy seemed to know what he was talking about too. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the East London area.

My 12 year old son bought back wheel and inner tube from this shop and when he got them home,we were unable to fit the inner tube as it was the wrong size!!He even took his bike with him to get the right size. Also noticed the inner tube was damaged!

I went to the shop today and was told shop closed even though they were serving another man, told him what was wrong with the inner tube, quick to judge me and informed me that i damaged the inner tube and i dont know what im talking about. The guy was very very rude, had no respect or apologised and whats with the attitude!Maybe he thought what would i know as i am a woman,he sure got me wrong as i wish i read the previous reviews and can confirm that this place is deffinately not the place for you to fix bikes, get parts or to even get a smile.

Iv lost my money and parts are no use to me now and my son is now unable to ride his bike until i can fix it,surely this bike shop sold the wrong parts to my son as he was not with an adult and got away with it.

I have used this cycle shop for years. In my experience they have provided a good service. I work in the NHS and they gave me a discount because of this. I bought a bike which did n't have anything to hook a bike bag onto and at no extra charge they added a custom made hook. They also replaced a faulty dynamo with out charge. Although I have not personally experienced a difficilt attitude from the manager, I have seen him being rather short with people, particularly children, so I can understand the comments in the other review.

This review is of the Roman Road Branch. My 13yr old brother purchased a tyre and inner tube wasn't issused with a receipt (didn't ask for one which has to be mentioned) tyre was faulty, was bulging out at one point, even though fitted corretly. Taken off and refitted twice but buldge remained in the same position. on 1st returned visit by himself, was given a replacement inner tube, problem persisted. Second return visit with me I was told it was incorrectly fitted. I had taken the whole wheel with me, which they refused to look at before passing judgement. Wanted further £3 for fitting which was unwilling to pay as I knew I had fitted it correctly. I had said I'll watch to see how you fit a tyre (he had one in his hand which he was fitting) when I'm assuming he was the manager came into the conversation saying hold on, hold on were not here to educate you, we're very busy here (even though the shop was empty) our time is money. My reply to that was that I didn't need to be educated, but since your telling me I'm doing it wrong, you should be happy to show me how it's done, it's just good customer service. He really couldn't care less and told me to get out of his shop. £3 isn't a lot of money, but the point is he didn't want to give me a replacement or admit to it being faulty. Avoid unless you like extremely arrogant bad service. Having been spoken to like that ruined my weekend. I will give then one more opportunity to give me a replacement or refund then I'll be going to trading standards as they are happy to supply and not replace a dangerously faulty item.
