Went in to buy inner tube today but ended up asking the guy to fix the punctured front wheel for. Very excellent service for a very good price in 30 minutes. He put used new brake pads for free. Top guy. Will definitely go back there if my bike need fixing.

I have bought bikes from these guys since I was a teenager, and as a Dad I have bought first a hybrid, then a MTB, now a racer for myself, plus several bikes over the years for my wife and son.
Exemplary local business, as is their sister shop in Raynes Park; good value services without performing unnecessary work; I have no hesitation in recommending Pitfields.

Great local bike shop. Very reasonable prices, and skilled workshop staff. Had my racer's rear derailleur tuned up here and gear changes are now smooth and consistent, which I could not achieve with two hours worth of messing about myself. Handy to have this just down the road.Highly recommended!

Bought a bike here recently after some excellent advice and could not be happier with the service especially as I had already checked out locally available 'cheaper' options then advised of the dangers! Well done.

I visited the shop today to buy a bike for my 10 year old. I was met with an arrogant rude member of staff who offered no help just short curt answers. He made me feel with no doubt that I would not return to this shop. I used the shop about 3 years ago to purchase a bike for my daughter and received outstanding service. Nothing was too much for what was clearly a family business. I have recommended it to many friends. It would appear that the friendly local shop that was is now part of a chain, and has changed by all recognition. My advice go to Wimbledon Village they remain true to their local custom.
