Reliable local butchers, selling very good quality meat, poultry and game. The three pack deals on game in season are excellent value, and the pork (from Plantation Pigs) is sublime. The staff are very helpful and know their stuff when it comes to choosing and cooking meat, so don't be afraid to ask for advice. Do be prepared to queue, however, as this place is very popular with locals. And don't forget to order your Christmas turkeys, goose, or beef - the 21-day rib we had last Christmas was spectacular.
