Armstrong's Family Butchers

I can sum it up in a word & a sentence! The word "awesome". The sentence "try their sausages" !!

Phoned up and asked the price for a 1kg off the bone cut of pork shoulder. I was quoted £12. In store I ordered what I believed was 1kg and was charged £12. Once home I realised the quantity was 800g.

I can also say the previous three times I have bought from there the quality of my steak, sausages and leg of lamb was poor. I will stop shopping there and drive to Twickenham to another butcher instead of buying from the local store

Armstrongs are first class in every way ! Excellent flavour to all the meats, good selection of cheeses and cooked hams, pork is our favourite, and lamb shanks which are enormous.
I could go on and on, best advice is to give them a try. In fact, I'm heading there right now..

Their sausages are second to none, don't bother with the Tesco further up the road, get your meat from here. My only complaint is with their pies, they need a much bigger filling. As lovely as their pies are I've grown up in the Dales up north where the pies are very filling, the Armstrong pies need to be more hearty in my books. Other than that they're a magnificent butchers, well on par to Peat's of Barnard Castle.

I have been using Armstrong's in St Margarets for five years. Good quality meat. Excellent range of pies/sausage rolls. Great variety of sausages. Also good selection of sauces. All the staff are helpful, pleasant people. I recommend this family butcher very highly.

A wonderful family run butchers, also with a shop in Richmond. Excellent choice and quality. The guys are always really nice and friendly. We have purchased meats from both shops for over 8 years and cannot recommend them highly enough.
