Not too many places in London can boast genuine middle eastern falafel that is comparable to or better than you can get in Israel and Lebanon but Pita definitely can. The falafel is made fresh with Parsley as it should be and there is a large choice of freshly made salads available too. Not the cheapest place to eat, that's true, but the quality of the food is well worth the price of admission. Highly recommended for an authentic middle eastern experience.

I am local to West Hampstead and I think that Pita makes the best falafel in London.

Every falafel is made fresh to order, so none of this warming up in the microwave. They are cooked in front of you. You can choose the filling. The french fries are cooked to perfection.

The staff are warm and friendly and I have never had a bad falafel there.

I have taken people from South Africa, Australia, UK and yes Israel too.

Highly recommended.

VERY overpriced (or very small portions depending on your point of view). We dropped £40 here for a basic take-away. We finished feeling hungry and disappointed. Seemed to cost about 30% too much. I would be very surprised if this place has many repeat customers. Feeling better having posted this..
