Service was quick albeit a bit chaotic, I suppose that's what you have to expect in the city at midday in a small place.
I went for the chicken & bacon pasta bake. Clearly not fresh, not even cooked on the same morning. The meat was very hard. Obviously it been sitting around in the hot tray for far too long and continued cooking, becoming dry and hard. Similarly the pasta was not Italian style and very soft. The mozzarella and tomato sauce didn't taste of much.
Pastries looked like they came from Greg's. Sandwiches looked ordinary. Better get take away food from the nearby Carluccio's.

Service was quick - when I went in at 12.10 there were no other customers in there - but I soon found out why. I ordred a chicken club salad bap, and when I got to my desk to eat it firstly I was amazed at how soggy the bread had become, as the mayo was so watery, and secondly - when I ate this, well I had to spit it out into a tissue - it was simply revolting. I have no idea what made a simple chicken and bacon mayo-mix taste so bad, I only hope it wasn't really old food that had gone off and been re-mixed. £3.30 wasted on the most disgusting, inedbile sandwich I've ever had. DON'T GO THERE.
