I left a review last May and still I am still loyally coming to this gem of a cafe. Always buzzing with locals. Coffee is best in area. Service with a smile and happy to see their regulars. Manager knows my coffee choice and has it waiting for me. Clean and food choices excellent. Has five stars. Still my favorite.

Loads of healthy salads, mixes, muesli, juices, breakfasts..... Sorry but this is my local cafe and I get a bit frazzled when I see lazy comments like that. I have been coming here since it opened over 13 years ago, same managers, how excellent and rare is that. I wanted to post a comment to say thank you for all your cheerie good mornings, excellent coffee and suggestions for lunch. I am off on maternity leave but will definitely be back with baby as soon as I can :)

friends recommended this place when they knew we were visiting London. must say excellent service especially manager, very helpful. Portions excellent and shop so clean. Service with a smile. Loved it, reasonably priced too. Coffee as a coffee should be. Thanks :)

This is the best cafe in London. I have read the other bad reviews, and my response to them is, stop lying and trying to ruin the cafe. The two brothers are always very friendly and the staff. Also what ever you ask for they give you without problems. I would recommend any one around the world to come straight to this cafe when they arrive in London.
It is very clean and always packed. They offer the best service in London.

Great service, food and prices. Had a lovely lunch here with my family and we were very impressed with the cleanliness of Coffee Uni-N alongside the delicious and fresh food served by very helpful friendly staff. Must visit!

Just been in to get coffee. So nice to find somewhere that knows what they are doing. Customer service is obviously high on the list. Enjoyed banter with guys behind counter. Noticed lots of customers asking for "their regular". I will be back.

I have recently started working in the area and was recommended to try this coffee shop. In a word Perfect., Food, atmosphere, service and cleanliness. I am really picky about where I eat but for a dreary rainy morning the smiles and cheery hellos made a great start to the day. The food was presented quickly and piping hot. Fantastic portion sizes. Thank you. Looking forward to the perks of being a regular and having my coffee ready and waiting when I walk through doors too.

Just visiting London and was lucky enough to stop here. It made my trip? Two boys so welcoming nothing was too much trouble. Very clean shop with excellent choices. I will definetely see you in my next visit to London.

I regularly use this cafe and have found them welcoming helpful and serve a great cup of coffee. It is a shame that those who abuse their good nature then take the time to write about it! I was dissappointed to see said Elliot moaning. . If you pay take away prices thats what you should do! Take it away. We like it just the way it is. i have been using it for the last 10 years and their cheery goodmorning makes my day. Keep up the good work. :)

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. RUDE AND OFFENSIVE SERVICE
The staff in this cafe are professional and helpful. And the food is fine.
The two brothers who own the cafe on the other hand are rude and offensive. Their customer service is very poor.
I sat at a table with a friend having paid for a takeaway (not the sit in price for a sandwich). Instead of asking me to pay the difference (which I did), the owner started being offensive for no apparent reason.
I would not recommend this place to anybody.

My local friendly independent coffee shop who get to know their customers. I visit most days with friends and have done for the last two and half years. My coffee is prepared as I like it and they know me by name, plus its amazing coffee. Great staff, v clean, food prepared there, excellent value.

I have been a customer for 6 1/2 years now, it is the cleanest, most friendliest coffee shop I have ever had the pleasure to eat in. It's well run, the coffee is amazing and the staff are always friendly. The food is freshly made, the service is excellent and the food represents good value.

Threatened to call the police as I was a few pennies short and was searching through my bag and they got impatient. Very rude to me. Filling in toasted panini was cold. Will not go back again mainly because of their rudeness.

The company I work for hosts lunches on a daily basis and we have been using Coffee Uni-n for the past month. They are great for coordinating everyone and everyone seems to be pleased with the food. Although it is a very small cafe they are still willing to host 12 people for lunch, twice a day, 5 days a week. The staff is friendly as well. We will continue to use Coffee Uni-N as our daily lunch venue!!

this cafe should be avoided at all costs, the food is majorly overpriced for what it is, and the customer service is appauling.
I went there today and asked for an omelette, chips and salad but asked if i could swap the salad for beans, which the manager agreed to do. When the food came he had forgotten the chips and served with salad and beans, when i asked him where the chips were he told me i need to be clearer when i give instructions and there is nothing he can do about it now as the oven is closed for chips. so i told him i was unhappy but when he offered to change it i said no as i didnt want to waste the food, he did offer me a free cookie which i thought was a nice gesture.
Whilst i was eating i noticed he served another customer chips, so had lied to me, when it came to me paying i asked for some money off as i didnt have chips and again he said it was my error as i wasnt clear but said he would take a pound off if i gave him his cookie back! which i did. he then went to say to the waitress 'remember that woman, if she comes bak get her to repeat her order 3 times' so i told him i wouldnt be returning so he started hurling abuse at me, said he didnt want my custom as he owns 40 properties over london and wished me luck finding food better than his average over priced food. He said that he is 48 and told me to come back when i am at his level of experience and give him advice then. I did make a comment about how he must be losing his hearing due to old age which just made him be more aggressive.
To sum it up, the owner is incredibly rude and nasty and it is unnecessary. whatever happened to good customer service and the customer is always right?! Would definately advise you never to go there!!!! subways round the corner is much better and there are nice sandwich shops across the road for half the price!

I have been buying my lunch from this venue for years. The young ladies who serve me have been great, yet the two brothers who run the cafe, do so with rude comments under their breath.
Today I was told; 'my rudeness has been tolerated for years', 'i don't need to work here as he has a potfolio of 20 houses in London', 'I'm not a prostitute that needs your business' and I could go on.
My suggestion is avoid this venue, there are plenty of others around that want and value customers. Save yourself the discomfort of shopping here.

Was on a short break in London ealier this week - staying near to Coffee Uni-N , our hotel breakfast not so good passed the coffee Uni-U it looked very clean and welcoming - turned out to be the best choice of our whole break for food ! Great food, quick lovely service , went back next morning was great too, thanks for setting us up for the day !
