Savoy Cafe

I would like to say something nice about this place as it's local to me but sadly there is hard to find any positives. Maybe only that it's open early in the morning. The staff is ok apart from the guy who calls himself the owner. He is rude and obnoxious. The food is average but the prices are high. Also the hygiene leaves much room for improvement.
It's a typical greasy spoon caffee and the prices are high.

i must say for the quality of food is second to none
i must have tried ni on everything from this cafe the home made dinners well the lasange and the chicken curry are the best iv ever tried from a cafe and i also completmented the chief on this after eating my meal , coffee is great,
quite not over busy so you can enjoy a nice braekfast or lunch , as i only live 5 mins away from cafe could do with opening earlier and open sundays
cafe is proberly best one around this area infact proberly the best iv been to in 20 years keep up the good grub

This is the local cafe to where I work, the food is all good, I haven't tried everything but what I have tried has all been tasty and well cooked. The service is good and the cook really cares about what is being served. My only negative point would be the cost of some items, breakfasts in particular and this is really in comparison to other dishes, for example Lasagne and chips is less than a fiver and is a really good portion but a decent breakfast is about £6, equally sandwiches are a bit too expensive but the main meals are really good value.

Definitely recommended.
