Never used a car wash service. Never will again

Recent sand storm on my fairly new car so as I was in uxbridge thought I'd give it a go. Straight away was told two prices. £22 or £50, I argued the menu prices saying there was nothing on the list they price, nearest for what I needed and asked for was £21.95. So an extra 5p for what? I was running late for an appointment so agreed if thry did a proper job.

On return, yes my car looked pretty clean and thry seemed to do a reasonable job.

On closer inspection murtirs were streaky, bumper grate was filthy inside, back number plate still had sand streaks, under the sides edging was black. I used a new cloth I'd bought and it was as black as coal on one wipe along the underside bottom. Corners of 3 windows were poorly finished with solution reminents on one edge.

My dogs tongue could have done a better job! I'll stick to doing the job myself in future!

Never again! Avoid!

Went to intu car park car wash in Uxbridge today to get the car washed on their basic package (£9.95) and was told that the car was too dirty LOL - told them that’s the whole point of your service to wash a dirty car!! They then said instead of going for the basic package you have to pay the silver package (£19.95) and we can do it! Asked what is the difference you will still need to wash the dirty car and I don’t need all the other bits offered in the silver package. Big boss comes along and says no sir we have to use special solution for the cars and we can’t do it on yours!! Absolute jokers just too lazy to do some real work because the car was too dirty - they don’t mind washing cars that are just a little dirty or just need a 5 min scrub down to get their monies worth!! Took it to car wash in petrol station in the end and paid £6 - 5 min job!

Very poor, tried to convince me to use a more expensive service very very pushy then overcharged me on collection and finally £2 missing from change left in car.
