I had a non functioning keyboard on a MacBook Pro. The issues were tricky to resolve and uneconomical to repair but together we found a feasible and useable solution. All of the guys there were really useful and helpful.
I have used MRSystems before and will use them again and have recommended them on several occasions.
They ran some basic hardware tests on my MacBook computer, but when they all passed, their conclusion was that there was nothing wrong with it. They were unprepared to do any further investigation, for example, to look at the log files that are generated each time each it randomly shuts itself down, to try and get an indication as to what the cause of the issue might be.
It might seem more convenient to take you broken Apple product to a local, licensed repair place like this, but this experience was nothing like as professional as that I have previously received when taking other Apple products to an actual Apple store, where the engineers seem more motivated to actually investigate & resolve your issue.
There's nothing more frustrating, as a customer, to be told that there is nothing wrong with your product when you have experienced frequent, repeated issues with it over an extended period.

If I could give 0 stars I would. MR Systems are the most incompetent bunch of people I have ever come across!
I was recommended by Apple to go through these guys as they were quicker than the 4 day wait for an Apple store appointment but in the end it took these guys 15 days for them only to tell me they had failed to obtain an unlock code for a simple Firmware lock that had come up on my iMac.
Communication is non-existent, I would ring these guys everyday and receive no answer but when you go to the actual store there are barely any customers in there and everyone is sat in the back office! When I did manage to get through to them on the phone they would have no update for me and tell me they will call back the same day with news, only to not return my call and have me chasing them days later.
I sent the store all the necessary paperwork (proof of purchase and my ID) for them to request an unlock code from Apple but they constantly failed to obtain one saying App
Totally overpriced, £60 purely for a diagnostic, which actually I wouldn't mind if the staff weren't so incredibly rude. I was barely acknowledged and then was spoken to like a child, whilst at the same time overhearing another member of the team talking to a customer in an extremely patrionising fashion. I would recommend that for a business that offers a service, their customer interaction needs to be vastly improved.

Had absolutely great service when I came in with my phone, it was about 30 mins before close on the Easter weekend and the staff were extremely kind and helpful - found the problem and gave me a new phone despite having run way past the warranty! Excellent service and excellent people!

Having spilt coffee on my new MBP 3 days ago - I assumed a £2.5k loss. Took it to apple genius bar who said they could fix it with a 2-3 week turnaround. Then I got in touch with MR systems - Anton looked after me and 2 days later my pride and joy is back in my hands with no sign of any damage whatsoever. Definitely recommend the service these guys can offer

I had major issue with my mac - only took it in to try to retrieve the data but these guys were able to fix my laptop too. Could not have been more helpful
MBP taken in as it wasn't booting, they quoted £1,040 for battery and hard drive replacement.
Took the computer back then went to Apple directly. Battery was at 78% of original charge capacity and it looks like there's no fault with the SSD. What a waste of time and money.
How can they improve? Talk to the customer, suggest real options to fix, don't quote ridiculous prices, don't try to grab my money because you think I'm an easy target.

I purchased an audio system from MR systems through their website only to be emailed saying the price should be another £170 and that they would be cancelling my order. The fact I had ordered other items at the same time didn't seem to matter. my suggestion to MR systems is to put in place an additional control/check before you publish prices. My suggestion to future purchases is if you would rather not have your time wasted then shop elsewhere!
