About 3 weeks ago we had the worst experience ever when we made the mistake to enter this store during our holiday in London!!! We are a foreign couple who set foot for the FIRST time in that store on November 30th 2023 to buy some food. Hardly had we taken a few steps into the store when a security guard approached us and told my partner that he was not welcomed there and wouldn`t be served because he had some information about him. We were completely SHOCKED! We asked him what he could possibly know about 2 tourists who entered that store for the first time but he kept saying the same thing. My partner asked him if he knew that he was a police chief superintendent and showed him his badge. Hearing the conversation one of his co-workers came along and tried to calm him down apologizing to us on his behalf. We still shopped there (which we shouldn`t have!) and left the store with the same guy stalking us outside just to see what kind of car we had come by. We felt completely harassed and humiliated in this store by an employee who should not be allowed to interact with customers! Whether he was delusional or just took my partner for somebody else makes no difference as this IS NOT an attitude that should be tolerated by the store management!!!
