Just tried to pump up the car tyres using the automatic pump, put my £1.00 in and all it did was tell me the pressure in the tyre. It was not working. When I told the guy in the Londis he started by saying put another £1 in and try again! When I asked him for a refund he refused saying firstly "how do I know it's not working?", virtually accusing me of lying. Why would I lie for a £1!?! Then he said it's not in the procedure. So I asked to speak to the manager and was told he was not available. Apparently if I came back tomorrow between 12.00 and 13.00 the manager would be in. When I pressed him for a time he became even more evasive and said 4pm. I suggested he should put an out of order sign on it but he thought not as allegedly I was the first person to find it not working. He was a complete jobsworth who knows nothing about customer service and in my opinion should be sacked. Avoid!
