Valley Food & Wine

I bought an yogurt yesterday 16.08.2021 from the corner shop “Valley Food & Wine” in Stockwell Road, SW9 9JQ. As I was in rush and did not check the date on it, just grab the first one.
Later on when I was eating it, it did taste weird. I did check the date on top of the lid and I was shocked as it is expired on 09.08.2021. I would not even think that it could be something out of date (not 1day, but already a week after it) in the shop shelves.
When I came to the shop later on and explained the situation, one of the staff members said “but it nothing happened to you”. But I (or someone else) could get poisoned and end up in hospital. I do not feel great after it, I do have stomach pain since yesterday.
It’s not about the money I spent on yogurt, but about the fact that the employees of this store are irresponsible about their work (sell food that has expired), and this can further harm the health and lives of consumers. The shop owner doesn’t have to care about his pocket but also he must think about his customers, do not put their health and life in danger by selling expiring food or other things
