Freed sell a wide range of dance and ballet wear including leotards and footwear.

From humble beginnings, Freed of London was founded in 1929 in the heart of London's theatre land. At the time lone artisan, Frederick Freed, used just three tools to, not only handcraft, but also customise pointe shoes to an individual dancer's needs. A unique approach within the dance industry, Freed of London rapidly expanded and continued to do so.

Today, Freed of London's portfolio has developed to become not only synonymous with ballet and pointe shoes but to become the leading provider of dance shoes across all dance genres.

Freed of London's attention to quality and detail remains. Skilful craftsmen and women still use traditional methods to handcraft over 90% of Freed of London's products.

A rich history, loyal following and an extensive list of celebrity clients ensures that Freed of London shoes earn an applause on stage across the world.

Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. After 4 months in poorly fitted pointe shoes from another shop, freed made things right with their amazing pointe shoes and fitters! Spent a long time with me getting it right and I didn't feel rushed. I never thought Pointe shoes could be comfy...
Now I finally got my dancing feet back!!
