Strand On The Green Dental Practice

I have been going to Dr Kate Hughes for as many years as she has been practicisng and I could not recommend her highly enough. I have also been treated by Dr Mark Hughes and Dr John Hughes and received the same absolutely excellent standard of care.

Kate recently removed a wisdom tooth for me - she literally popped it out with barely any pain (the pain killing injections were so well administered I barely felt a thing) and I was very nervous of this procedure - she was extremely gentle, professional and inspired total confidence.

To my cost, I have been to a number of other dentists in London as I do not live locally - I have been given unnecessary fillings, had unnecessary procedures carried out on me, had very painful experiences because of clumsiness, and been treated rudely and dismissively (when I was entitled to NHS dental care becuase of pregnancy). Suffice is to say Kate and the dentists at Strand on the Green have never done any of these things.

After my last experience whereby I went to an emergency dentist and was given £210 of unnecessary treatment, I will never go to another dentist again, even though it takes over an hour to get there! Kate has only ever practised ethically and in the interests of the patient and frankly, anyone who gets on her list is lucky.

Everyone at Strand on the Green Dental practise is friendly, professional and kind. The practise itself is light, airy and decorated very nicely. Kids are given stickers and learn to feel happy and confident about going to see the dentist. I think it could well be the best dental practice in london.

I am not generally good with the dentist, it generally makes me uncomfortable. I have moved dentist a few times as i just havent felt comfortable. I have used Strand on the Green twice now and am really impressed with the dentist I am seeing there and he provides me with a lot of comfort. I have already recommended them to a friend who feels the same as me about the dentist and she is really happy with tth treatment they have given her. It's a nice clean place and even the receptionist is good company.

I normally dread the dentist but going to Strand on the Green has been a really pleasant experience. The staff are really friendly and my dentist made me feel so relaxed when I had to have a filling. I would definately recommend this practice, my old dentist was rubbish compared to here!

Have tended to dread my vists to the dentist often leaving it too long in between visits but recently moved into the area so had to go this this clinc for the first time. I was a bit worried having read the last review but after being treated by Mark (the dentist) I really cant understand what the reviewer was going on about! He has an excellent manor and the really put my mind at ease. 2 weeks on not a single problem with the filling he put in.

More then happy and would recommend to anyone.

This practice is highly professional, friendly and good value for money. The surroundings are very pleasant and I certainly feel that my dentist has an ongoing understanding of my own, and my children's, dentistry.
