Aromaden

I've complained about the main dentist at Aromaden dental practice. The first time I complained, it was the DDU that dealt with my complaint, not the dentist, he did not address my complaint himself at all and merely told me he had passed it to the DDU. I received a letter from the DDU dated 2 December 2022, but the letter was dismissive and did not address my complaint in full. I then wrote an email & another letter to the dentist earlier this year & I did not receive a reply to either. I assume they were both ignored.

I lost 4 front teeth. This dentist replaced crowns on my teeth after another dentist had shaved my healthy & straight teeth unnecessarily when I was only 18 or 19, & was in a vulnerable state having been discharged from a psychiatric hospital near that time. I have been referred for an autism assessment & am quite naive and have been in psychiatric hospitals a number of times in my life.

The dentist at Aromaden dental practice, placed crowns on my teeth even though he knew I was very unhappy with my dental situation overall, was feeling very lost at what was actually going on, was not fully aware of what all the risks were and didn't know why exactly my previously healthy teeth had been shaved off so much and crowned by a previous dentist.

Having new crowns placed on my teeth by this dentist at Aromaden so soon after the initial crowns, I believe may have further weakened the teeth. When I later lost one of the crowned teeth & went back to this dentist & asked why I had lost a front tooth, his answer was vague & he seemed more interested in getting me to pay £2000 to have an implant. I have been let down by both of these dentists, where I have lost a lot of money as well as 4 front teeth. I feel distressed at my situation.

This dentist is has refused to provide me with any assistance, he has refused to refund any of the money I paid him, & has refused to even provide me with a denture or to help with the other dental issues I am having as a result of there being so much pressure on my back teeth, due to having lost 4 front teeth. I have suffered a lot in my life due to being autistic and now face my life with 4 missing front teeth, where this dentist has refused to show me any regret over what happened, has refused to provide any assistance at all, & failed to reply to my last email & letter where I am asking for his help.
