I had two keys cut for the same key, one worked, the other didn't. It is not rocket science, the problem is obviously the key, but the stubborn rude shop owner wouldn't acknowledge this, saying the problem was the lock. I eventually did get some money back (he refused to give all of it since he had been charged 6 pounds for the uncut keys to be delivered there). A way to improve would be if they trained the person in charge not to acknowledge errors, and particularly not be rude to people. The client is always right, business 101.
