I would agree with the previous poster. The owner here clearly has a problem.

I went in a few months back with 4 coats to clean. I was accidently undercharged (by 3 coats - £48!). When I was paying I had already noted the price being 50% higher than nearby competitors and I suspect he was too distracted by our conversation to notice he had only charged for one coat - £16. At the same time, I was too flustered to notice the error.

Anyhow, I spotted the error on my bank statement a couple of months later and went back to pay what I owed. So much for honesty. I was treated like a criminal when I went in - and then when I paid, he said it was £48.50. I just wanted to get out but when I got back I realised he had overcharged me. Not by much but am utterly convinced by his manner this was his way of adding interest to what I underpaid.

May as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb as they say. At least my consience is clear as far as intentions are clear.

I was a loyal customer for 5 years, the tailoring service is excellent and would always recommend this place until they lost my jacket and denied all knowledge and was told that my ticket that stated 3 items, meant 2 items but with 1 item counting twice.
I went out of my way to use this place but won't be going back, it was a beautiful and very expensive jacket but the owner refused point blank to accept that any mistake within the shop was possible, despite the fact that I had been a regular visitor for 5 years so I won't be going back. I don't recommend this place if you want your clothes back.
