Perkins Dry Cleaners

Just moved to the area, slightly more expensive than my last drycleaners but in kensington i think most of them are. I was fortunate enough to find them as they managed to remove a really bad stain for me on a very expensive dress. pretty fast too

Avoid this place. For that kind of money, you would probably want to use a dry cleaner where the staff is kind, the service is fast and won't lose your clothes. In each one of these areas, Perkins Dry Cleaners is an utter disappointment. There are simply better places in the immediate vicinity that provide better service for a fraction of the price.

I totally agree with the previous comment. In addition to not actually appearing to have had my clothes cleaned, the guy at the counter tried to over charge me for a second time! Despite a jacket costing £9.50, he charged me £10.50. After double checking the prices via a phone call, I confronted the shop and they refunded me the extra pound I was charged previously and also reduced my bill to the appropriate amount of £9.50. They must have some kind of scam going on at this shop, otherwise it doesn't make sense that they systematically tried to rip me off for a pound each time! I will never visit this shop again!

This is by far the worst dry cleaners I have ever used and I am a local to this area for the last 25 years. The service is unspeakably rude and the cleaning service is poor (clothes still stained and dirty when returned). Don't use this dry cleaners if you want to be stress free and have clean clothes at the end of it. Prices also on the higher end which given that they don't even clean the clothes properly is a bit much.
