Omega
Fashion Shop at 68A The Broadway
I have never had such a terrible experience shopping in my life. I wish before buying i had looked online and read the many many terrible reviews about this shop and its owners.
I have had the same experience as many and in the end had to take a outfit which had been hacked to pieces so it was impossible to alter further and didn't fit well.
The staff are rude and have no concept of customer service or even human decency. Everyone was rude even down to the girl who firstly hovered over me whilst i tried on my outift adn then procedded to be rude to me whilst i was trying to explain to her how by top needed to be mended.
DO NOT SPEND A SINGLE PENNY IN THIS STORE, YOU WILL REGRET IT!
Rude staff, woman who served us kept interrupting.
She and the owner called us rude because we wanted time to discuss the dress.
I told the owner their customer service is bad and we are leaving, after which he says “get out” lol.
He then comes outside to say “bahath bethomeez he”.
Would not recommend this store to anyone.
1. Ordered a sherwani – was advised the sherwani will be ready next week, then next week, then next week, then next week (you get the jist). Every time we visited, the sherwani was not worked on. My fiance received the same treatment with her blouse. This treatment spanned across a period of 6 months. Torture.
2. On one occasion, we entered the shop with a woman crying as she was also getting the same treatment (see point 1 above). She was from Leicester and her wedding was within the next 7 days. Luckily, I was local.
3. The owner blamed my fiance for the woman crying. He shouted at my wife saying he will not return her wedding blouse and she won’t get a refund. We were forced to pay for the blouse. Our hands were tied as the wedding was very close.
4. The owner forcibly yanked the sherwani off my back and told us to leave his shop because we were losing him business (I am not sure how he came to this conclusion).
5. The shop tried to sell me size 8
