I have been eating at Costa Fish and Chip shop for well over 20 years and was shocked to find that it had closed for good at the end of 2009. The best in London will be hard to replace. Another piece of my historic London sadly lost. Happy retirement Mr. Costa and thank you.

It pains me to report this but Costas fish shop, which is/was the best fish and chip shop in London, has closed down, due to family retirement, with effect from end 2009. They will be greatly missed by everyone who went there, especially the locals, of which my family were frequent visitors. Goodbye, Mr Costa, we miss you already.
