The Golden Fish

This is one of the best fish and chip shops I've been to. The chips are perfect, the fish is amazing with crispy batter to die for the fried chicken is awesome with extremely generous portions. I travel a 15mile round trip to get to it passing many chip shops along the way, go and see for yourself.

Best fish & chips I've had for years. Amazing chips, fresh fish and delicious crispy batter. I was very pleasantly surprised.

When my family and I lived in Lewisham Road, this was the chip shop to eat from. We would attend this shop every Friday. There would be no issue about the oil used to fry the food and the cod and chips would alway be delicious.

The shop was owned by, I think a Chinese couple that owned the shop for years & who were nice and polite, one thing to complain about was the queue's that sometimes led outside the shop but apart from that it was the best chip shop in that part of Lewisham. I wish my local chippy now was as good as this.
