Mo's Fisheries

I went there yesterday and asked for fresh salmon. I was shown a variation of sides of fresh salmon and chose a small piece as hadn’t been to him before.
I know a lot about fish as my family were fish merchants.
I am impressed and will return for larger quantities next time for when I give a dinner party .
Mo knows his stuff as I was chatting to him fir some time. I will always shy away from anything that’s been in a deep freeze.

very old shop with a great in it. he know his fish very well and guaranty you the freshness of it, and i can tell that is true, fresh fish coming early from the market every morning. I ve been there now few time and never been disappointed of what I bought. last visit I bought some wild sea bream and yes it s was WILD. nothing to compare with farm one as you can find in any other shops around the area. i m a chef and very picky of what I eat. i prefer to pay the price for great product and eat less of it.

This is a fantastic fishmonger just opposite Ealing Common tube station. You simply cannot get fresher seafood. The owner, Mo, gets his seafood daily from his suppliers at Billingsgate market, and if you are a foodie like me, then the quality of the tired looking fish you get at a supermarket simply does not compare. I usually get some of their delicious monk fish and they have their own organic Scottish smoked salmon too, which is superb. Mo is very helpful, and will prepare and fillet your fish if needed. Worth a visit if you want to get some delicious and healthy seafood into your diet!
