Halfords Autocentre

I wish I was able to give one star… EVERYONE AVOID HALFORDS LIKE THE PLAGUE!! This is the second time I’ve been ripped off by Halfords. Unfortunately I had to get a repair done on a Saturday so couldn’t use my regular privately owned garage. They Replaced my blower resistor in my car and charged double the price it should have been after speaking to my usual guys. Less than a month later my fans were making a horrific whirring noise which I presumed they would sort out free of charge as the resistor obviously hadn’t been fitted correctly / they had damaged something whilst fitting them. Sadly they told me yet something else now needed fixing that wasn’t their fault (even though it was still to do with the resistor) and wanted to charge me an extra £300. I called my garage to ask how much they would change it for and it was again a fraction of the price that Halfords had quoted. To add to this - in the the ‘vehicle health report’ they sent to me after checking over my car they proceeded to list that my two front tyres were down to 4mm / 38% which was complete rubbish as I’d had new tyres put on the front just 1 month prior. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Find a small local and trustworthy garage and do not give your business to Halfords.

I have been calling Halfords in Southfields and fine the staff very rude, when I went personally sometime ago. Today I have been phoning and he asked me to hold for 1 minute. I waited patiently for 3.30 minutes and no reply back so I hung up and went on calling and the calls are being cut off!

Is this how you treat your customers. Do you call this your business???
