I visited this shop recently to check a lottery ticket I had previously bought there, but the experience was disappointing. When I arrived, no one was at the counter, so I called out and waited, setting my shopping bag down while I retrieved my ticket.

When the shopkeeper appeared, I handed him the ticket, and he told me it was worth £4. I asked for a replacement ticket, specifying that I wanted the same type. However, he handed me a different ticket. I politely asked if I could have the correct one, specifying that it was number 11. At this point, the shopkeeper became visibly frustrated, placed the £4 on the counter, and curtly suggested I just take the cash and leave the ticket.

When I told him he was being rather grumpy, he didn’t seem to appreciate the feedback. Unfortunately, this encounter left a negative impression. I expected a more pleasant and attentive service, especially as a returning customer.
