Worst salon experience ever! I also had the brazilian blow dry treatment which was poorly applied, rushed and used very sparingly (missing entire sections of my hair). I left the salon looking like I'd been dragged through a bush and feel annoyed that I then had to leave my hair in that condition for 4 days (as advised for the product to work) in such a state, only to reveal that it had not had any effect upon my hair at all! My hair looked worse after the treatment than it had done before I'd had it. It was only after reading reviews of the keratin product online that I realised it was the incompetency/carelessness of the salon that caused this absolute waste of time/money and horrible experience.
Worse still, the owner of the salon treated my hair; he scalded my hair whilst washing it, burnt my head with the hair dryer and generally scragged my hair about causing a lot of pain for days after. I didn't complain at the time as I thought this might be a requirement of the treatment and again, did not know for sure until I had checked online. The reason i have not gone back to complain to the salon is that I wouldn't want them to touch my hair again with a 4 foot bargepole. I can imagine the manager not being particularly helpful/responsive either.
A minor point, but the salon is also not in the best location.
AVOID THIS SALON!
On top of this the manager was very rude and insulting about my hair style, pushy about purchasing the recommended products and attempting to get me to book a repeat appointment before I left.

I went to Pedersen Hair and Beauty for a Keratin Brazilian blow dry and this is what i will review here.
I had a very bad experience with rude staff in a tatty looking salon. THe keratin treatment they used was from the brand Global Keratin. I have had this treatment done several times before so i know how it works and how it is meant to be done. Pedersen did a terrible job of it. They are not using the special straighteners needed for the hair to absorb the keratin. They also barely explained that the treatment requires very specific after care. If I hadn't know about the it, i wouldn't have understood what to do after i left the salon (not wash your hair for 72 hours, not use any hairclip for 7 days after treatment, straighten hair twice a day for 3 days...)
This salon should not be allowed to do this treatment, as they are clearly not trained for it or they simply cannot be bothered to do the job properly. Terrible! Waste of time and money! AVOID!
