Went to Luca today (6th July 2020), almost the first day they were open after COVID closure. Only one stylist wore any form of face covering. My stylist, Elisabeth, had not brought a mask with her and although plastic visors were available, she said she "couldn't see properly" with one on, so wouldn't wear it. None of the stylists wore gloves (other than for colouring hair) or aprons. The salon was packed. I was the only customer wearing a mask. I walked out. I have been going to Luca for about 10 years but I won't be going again.

I went to Luca salon after my hair had grown back after chemo I was really nervous but when I rang for an appointment I spoke to mikey and she reassured me I was welcomed and she cut my hair just how I wanted it after we discussed what we could do I now have a lovely pixie cut I now have to go back every 6 weeks due to my hair growth I would recommend to everyone.

I went to Luca without appointment to do Shellac. Staff was lovely, especially Lola. Also I asked if they can do haircut and blow-dry, Miky give me the best hair cut ever! She is AMAZING!!!

Had shellac nails done. After 2days, 2 of my nails had peeled off. I rang the salon & the lady on the phone agreed to redo the 2 nails. A day later all my nails had peeled off & told the salon owner that I now wanted a full refund. He was exceptionally rude, shouting & behaving in a threatening manner & not willing to listen. He just got even more abusive & called the police to have me removed from the shop. He told them I was a difficult customer & that he was losing custom because of me. He was storming up & down the shop & all the staff looked frightened of him. I left the salon devastated.

Sorry to hear that from you,as I remember you came back after 10 days and companied about your shellac that two of them been peeled off. I was asking you why you didn't came back second or third day after shellac has been done,to replace them for you.You were telling me that you have been busy ,I asked you why you didn't call the salon and you started to make many excuses . To call the salon takes only one minute.
However we don't know how much you have been following our aftercare suggestions.
I was nice to you and I was trying to give you half of the cost,but you were angry and called me silly on front of other clients and staff. I've asked you to leave the salon in nice way,but you didn't and I had to call police. after the police was talking with you on phone to leave,you ignored and kept shouting in the salon.

I went to Luca for a hair dye patch test as I suffer from allergic reactions to some hair dyes. They gave me several hair tests to check the allergies before recommending the treatment. I would highly recommend the salon. They are friendly, very helpful and professional.

I went to Luca for the first time today, for a haircut and blow-dry. Lorena did it and she was great about finding out what I did and didn't want, and made helpful suggestions too. I felt that she really listened and took the time to check if I was genuinely happy with the result. I love the cut and style that she gave me. I'll definitely go back and will tell friends too.

I got my hair cut by an experienced stylist who styled it in such a beautiful way, but did not do a thurough check on the balance of my hair. I only noticed this the next time I went to straiten my hair. I called the salon owner and he happily invited me in to check it and fix it. It was a wonderful experience and I left confident that my hair was absolutely perfect. They made me feel welcome and at ease with my request to fix my hair. This was my first experience there and I can safely say I will try them out again.

Nothing is too much trouble here and they always manage to fit you in and help you out. Elizabeth and Max are fab and always give me outstanding service. Good value for money too.

great experiences at Luca Salon. They serve you wine or coffee while you're waiting for your hairdresser and are very sensitive to your needs

Max is the one who cuts my hair, and he is fantastic. Besides being a very sweet person, he is a great hairdresser who never hesitates to make sure the haircut is going the way you want it to.

The staff are friendly laid back and have made me appreciate what it means to get quality hair care from real people that are both experienced and easy to be around.

I ended up at Luca through an Internet 'deal' for kerastase treatment, head massage, cut and low dry for £29, full price listed as £77. This is a con however as says £37 on their website.

Greeted by girl who although very nice couldn't speak much English. She washed my hair and slapped on the 'treatment' for 5 mins. Head massage was non existent! Haircut was uneven although already had good style from previous haircut so only needed a trim. She left my fringe wonky and had to keep asking her to go over my hair. Blow dry was awful and left my hair frizzy. Would never go back to this pl

Apologies you were not satisfied with your hair cut, however I was present in the salon whilst the hair cut was being done and it appeared fine. Regarding the fringe I would welcome the opportunity to correct it if you would allow me to. I hope you will accept my apology.

The worst experience of my life! Clearly unexperienced stuff, the person who was blow drying my hair had no idea was she was doing, the owner is rude to his clients, they are understaffed and can't cope with the pressure! Will never go back there again and such a shame as it used to by my local hairdresser!

You have been coming to Luca for many years and we have always provided you with a good quality of service and discounts. On the day in question you were seen by a stylist who has never done your hair before and as you are aware your hair is quite thick and requires a senior level stylist. You also left the stylist a tip after your service. I asked if you were happy before you left and you said that you were! After that you went to my other salon called Alessandra and you asked Jovana to do your hair again, which she did! Then you rang me next day and you complained about the stylist even though Jovana had corrected it for you and as you seemed unhappy, I offered you your money back, I don't think in doing so I was being rude.
