Oh come on people. They are great, and they might have a laugh, but the bottom line is that they treat you with competence and respect. I have a strong German accent, so that says something. I love that shop.

Like the previous reviewer, this shop needs to learn that customer is king. Totally disappointed by the scathing customer attitude and lack of respect for their customers.

A family run local business that knows and serves the local community very well. THey have been here of ryears and locals use them all the time. A cheery "cheeky chappie" greeting disguises a deep knoweldge of their products. Sometimes they can run out of stock and the display is not flashy - what you see is what you get. Honest good prices; if it is not in stock they will get it in if available. Open on Saturday mornings and they take Euros. Used by local tradesesmen who know a good deal when they see one.

Yes they have a joke and a laugh but they know there stuff. I have used them for years and there better value than the big stores.

This shop is round the corner from where I work, so I pop in often. Very well stocked, and the guys certainly know their stuff. However, they are incredibly rude. It seems that they make their long days more entertaining by subtly mocking or berating each customer for their lack of knowldege. The strange thing is people take it (myself included sadly).

Anyway, try it, and report back. See if you can buy something without being made to feel like a t*t. The challenge is on!
