I have been a loyal customer of the Fruit Garden since the last two years I have lived in Baker Street. As a vegan, this health store offers competitive products and everything is fairly priced and competitive. The fruit and veg is fresh and I truly enjoy coming here everyday as the staff is wonderful! Please support local!! We need to help our local stores thrive to maintain charm in an already overly commercialized neighborhood-baker street

I have been a customer of The Fruit Garden Malcombe St NW1 6AG since they opened in 1988 as I live nearby on Park Road. This is the quintessential corner Health Food shop par excellence and has served and a grateful community with its fine range of healthy products and fruit. A few years ago Tesco opened next door in Malcombe streets replacing the overpriced Shepard’s Mart.
They vowed to “Finish Off the Fruit Garden” TESCO Malcombe started to stock health food. They undercut and there was a price war, A battle between David and the Goliath - The small fruit garden emerged victorious. Fruit garden Malcombe saw the Mighty TESCO off.
For fresh fruit and health food the Fruit Garden far outstrips TESCO in price and quality. The staff are always polite. As a Gout suffer I but my cherry and blueberry juices from this shop. The vegatables are always fresh and carefully selcted. This is a family run business and the owner, his family and staff are excellent people.
