The Boutique will be dispensing what is described as a ‘hallucinatory freezer cabinet of nitrogen-tipped vice creams and guilty pleasures’.
‘Patients’ will be offered a kaleidoscopic assortment of medications including an ice cream transfusion with a syringe, toast, flames, bombes, cold sweats, a baby’s bottle and liquid nitrogen.
Said Founder Matt O’Connor, “The Incubator Unit will cold-fuse the world’s greatest socialising agents – boutique ice cream and alcohol – in our very own operating theatre. The ‘Lick Your Addiction’ programme celebrates an absurdist stream of consciousness with a satirical pastiche about the culture of addiction, celebrity, pop-culture and politics. Expect a provocative lick and satirical scoop with every mouthful.”
Interior design is described as evolving from the straight punk vibe in Selfridges to ‘industrial baroque and roll.’

Seems like this place can't quite cope with the hype that it's been experiencing over the last couple of weeks, which is unfortunate. Staff has shown a real lack of customer focus when we went to one of their stores at covent garden yesterday evening. We went from being told we could get two cones with a spatula each for the price of one cone with two spatulas, to being asked to pay for two cones with two spatulas each. That's a price increase from £3.95 to £7.90 caused by poor communication between different members of staff. Surely the customer shouldn't have to pay for their lack of training and customer focus? Needless to say we didn't pay and our ice crew probably ended up back in the tub. They won't be getting my business anytime soon!

Completely mental. Definitely worth a visit if you fancy an alternative to a Mr Whippy.
