I took several item for adjustments the staff there were amazing did everything I needed do perfectly I found there store buy chance and would never go else where again the prices are amazing and definitely recommend have already told loads of friends and family as it’s hard now days to find a genuine vintage old to jewellery store any more

I have a pair of silver earrings and matching chain, they became badly discoloured (turn black) I took them to this jewellers and had them cleaned - they looked brand new just as if they were newly purchased. I was very satified

I had a 10 year old fossil watch that had never be worn or come out of the tin. I guessed as it wasn’t working it needed a new battery (I hoped!) I arrived just as the shop opened & was greeted by a really nice friendly gentleman who asked me what I needed. I explained a new battery, he said shouldn’t be a problem. I arrived back 10 minutes later explained about the age of the watch and didn’t believe it had ever had a battery in it, its age and showed him the new battery that came with the watch. He explained it may have leaked due to being so old and would fit a new battery of his own.it was a chronograph watch so not straightforward. He quoted me a very reasonable price took my details gave me a ticket and a pick up time.I wasn’t hopeful! I arrived to the same smiling gentleman who greeted me by name and told me my watch was ready with no problems! I handed him my ticket and paid him the price quoted very happily. He made what turned out to be a bad day, be good in some way. I now have a great fully functioning fossil watch you can no longer buy. Couldn’t be happier 10/10 experience and love my watch!

I was in a panic to get a watch going (needed battery), as a gift for my son's 30th birthday later that day. i turned up at 9.30am at this nice little shop (been there since the 1980s) but it was still closed. There is no similar service nearby. I phoned the number and left a voice message. I trailed back home thinking that I would not be able to give this gift after all.
But Jay is a remarkable man. Unlike so many, he actually returned my voicemail. I hadn't even got home - he had arrived and opened the shop just five minutes later. I raced back, and he fitted the battery immediately; even found me a presentation box to put it in. I had to force him to take a few quid extra for the trouble he had taken.
My problem solved, my son delighted, and the reputation of this shop confirmed and secure. Thankyou, Jay!

I have used this jewellers for many years, you get great service & always at an excellent price. The owner is polite courteous and very prim when having items repaired, I have recently had a diamond replaced in my daughter in laws engagement ring, she is over the moon. I had a chain & pendent repaired top class work, my son had his gold chain repaired a few years ago and still looks like new, my husband had his rings repaired that had to be cut off his fingers, this jewellers done a cracking job and they look like new, considering my husband was going to scrape them he is over the moon with them. When you have a battery replaced in a wristwatch they even inscribe the date that they replaced the battery, the last one I had replaced went on for over 7 years. Good prices great service and wonderful staff would recommend 100%
