Myself and my husband bought our traditional wedding rings from here. The staff were really friendly without being pushy and made us feel looked after. We couldn't have asked for better service or better value for money.

I just had my great grandmother's ring reduced as my engagement ring. It is a very pretty gold ring with three rubies and two diamonds. Georges reduced the size, removing the hallmark, and now the ring has the thinest possible band. During the resizing (which was quite a reduction as previously the ring was even to big for my thumb) they have removed a significant amount of gold along with the hallmark. They charged me £75 for the privilidge of feeling cheated. As I didn't photograph or weigh the ring there is not much that I can do.

I too used to use Georges & Co for all my jewellery needs as I used to work nearby. I found the previous owners (a lady called Dorit and her team) to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

I cannot comment on the new owners, but I hope they are continuing the good work.

Bought my engagement ring from Georges. The most beautiful ring ever at an amazing price.The service was excellent. I was serviced by the owners mum (Nina I think). Staff excellent, jewellery breathtaking.

Went back to buy my wedding band and it has been taken over by new owners. What a complete anti-climax. Service was poor. Was served by a lady who had no clue about jewellery or diamonds. No one else in the store managed a smile. The jewellery is now average.
