Launderette

Second time I have had to use this (Last time was mid-Feb) and if the occasion ever comes up again, I will find somewhere else to go. Only half the large washing machines worked so had to wait 50 minutes to use one as the three working ones were all full. Two of the smaller machines were not working and at least one of the tumble driers was out of action. The Spin Dryer doesn't work either. Despite saying the driers took £2 coins, none of them accepted the three I had with me and the local shop refused to exchange them so I had to take an Uber back home as the wet washing was too heavy for me to carry. Prices have also gone up. £5 for a small wash (was £4.50) and £7 (was £6) for a large wash. A paltry six minutes for £1 on the tumble driers (used to be 10). It was clean though.

A bit run down and the washing machine and tumble dryer coin slots take getting used to. I have seen customers 'thinking' they have lost money due to sensitive buttons. No spin dryer, and the clothes come out of the washer quite wet, so you have to spend quite a lot on the tumble dryers which are quite rusty. Take plenty of £1 coins with you!
