Alpha Accommodation

Ive dealt with this agency for over 3 years, and honestly, I have had some major issues with my property but every single time i have a problem, Ben is there to help. There was once a burst pipe in the flat and I told Ben I needed help asap, he was there with his tool box within 20 mins! One other time, there was no hot water, he came over with a new shower head and thermostat unit a few days before Xmas to sort it out. I can't thank him enough.

I have now moved on from the flat and have had my deposit returned to me in full.

Good Agent. Ben took all the time in world to explain to me all the ins and outs of letting my property.They are also based close to my properties, and they have even offered to fix things themselves if no specialised person is necessary. I now deal with Ben on a regular basis. He keeps me up to date on everything and is very quick to respond to any queries of mine and keeps my mind at rest by managing my property seamlessly. Alpha is a very down to earth company and after 'interviewing' various management companies, I have no doubt in my mind that Alpha have my best interest at heart.

After seeing an ad with mismatching description and map location on gumtree I enquired about the correct location of the property - I think it's pretty standard if you are choosing where to live!

The agent then said he could not tell me and that he would walk me there on the day of the viewing.

I said I was no longer interested since I could not check where it was. He returned with a unnecessary very rude email calling me anal.

I'm afraid not only was this appalling customer service, it is also very risky behaviour for someone to be taken to an unknown location.

Me and my girlfriend just got a one bedroom apartment of alpha accommodation.

After reserving the property nearly 4 weeks ago, alpha accommodation services getting our references credit checked and getting the apartment ready in time was super efficient.

We moved into the apartment last weekend and I must say we can't believe with the way they we are impressed with our apartment

We were given what we were promised and wish alpha accommodation all the future success they will achieve as they are one inl a agency

Very unprofessional- when we turned up for a viewing, made to wait for a long time for some reason. Then the lady realised she did not have the keys, and started to ring around for one. When we finally set out on the viewing, we realised they were showing around another pair of people at the same time, which she failed to tell us about.
When we went for a second viewing, the office was locked and the man turned up 15 mins late in a car, called out of his car and said he will meet me at the property. In the property, I had some concerns about varuious issues and asked him if it was to be resolved before we move in. He said he was "just there to show me the property," and avoided all responsibility for anything. I got slightly irritated by his comment and said how rediculous that was, so he gave me his manager's phone number and told me to ring him. Whilst the other two staff are at least friendly, this one was very rude and moody.

When we finally moved in, they had reassured us that the flat was ready, only to find no toilet seat, no washing machine, door and window frames not painted... and worst of all, there were no locks on the windows in one of the rooms & could be opened from the outside. It had not even crossed my mind to check for locks, as it is such a basic thing to have! I had to stay in an unsecure flat for several days, and workers finally came after 3 complaints. Oh, and they forgot to give us the keys to the flat- and made me wait for 2 hours in the flat for them. They clearly deal with dodgy properties with dodgy landlords- I cannot wait to move out, althuogh I doubt getting the deposit back would be easy. I do not understand why their admin fee is so large, considering they do very little.
