If there was an option for minus rating this would more than qualify, my wife purchased a bag for our daughter at approximately 4.00.pm on the Sunday(22/05/2022) and having sat in the car realised the bag was scuffed and not the same one she had handed to the proprietor. The bag was unfinished inside with sleeving and lining unstitched as well as scuffing on the bottom of the bag. When I returned the bag this morning (23/05/2022) 30 minutes before opening time the same person without being shown the receipt started a tirade of abuse where he had stated the bag had been used thus causing the ‘damage’ to the bag. When he was shown the receipt confirming the date and time etc he continued to bear no responsibility for the product stating he did not have another bag and would give credit. After trying to communicate with this idiotic man and his drawing the attention of the adjacent shopkeeper with the tone of his voice and my dialling the local authority in his presence to speak to trading standards he came out of the shop throwing the bag st me initially and then throwing a £20 note at me this being his ‘kind’ ignorant gesture in the form of a refund. My honest opinion if you can go anywhere else then do so, if you can’t go anywhere else then do without.
A proprietor such as this gives small business owners such s bad name especially in these times.
