I love Browns, the owners are soooo nice and caring. The other owners might have been nice and caring, but the new owners are soooo much more than that, for they always have a huuuge huge smile on their face when someone walks in. Just the other day when I went to Browns, I heard a lady say, ”You people always know what to do if someone needs your help, you’re so understanding.” And it’s true, even if they are having a bad day they will always turn their frown upside down and try to help you with your situation.
So go to Browns and have the best sweets, magazines and of course Ice cream…mmm

My husband just came in to get two helium balloons for my Son’s16th …. It’s like they didn’t want to serve him, both guys wear sorry I don’t blow up balloons. After a long wait they did do it, but no bag to put them in, no weights to hold them down and £10 each balloon…. What a rip off, we have never paid that much for balloons especially with no weights.. will not be giving them our business now. Such a shame the last owners were amazing

Been a regular customer of this shop for over 30 years.
My children and now grandchildren love their ‘penny sweets’ selection. Just been in to get a couple of bags for the children to find the new owners have hiked the price. Wanted £6.20 for 320 Grams of sweets! That’s nearly £20a kilo. Won’t be returning.

I am a regular at Browns since I moved to the area 17 and a half years ago. We brought our house from a lady that used to work there. The current owners are lovely and very much in tune with my odd requests. I can arrive and "Mrs Brown" will know why I am there. They are also great for small chat - which my being Irish is a lovely extra. I especially had a lovely visit last minute this evening having nearly forgotten an important boys birthday.

I have my daily paper delivered by Browns Newsagent in Bexleyheath and I'm really impressed with their excellent service. The owners are always polite and very helpful. And Luke - the paperboy is reliable and highly recommended.
