Linklaters Optometrists

I have been with other opticians, but can honestly say none as thorough as Linklaters. I have great faith in them. Also the care and respect shown to both my elderly parents was exceptional. One receptionist in particular knew who I was when I rang regarding my parents without me having to go into details. I would totally recommend them.

Friendly helpful staff who are honest about your need for glasses and will not prescribe glasses for slight defects, (unlike other opticians I have visited in the past). The phone call or text the day before your appointment to remind you is great for scatterbrains like me. Definitely recommend

I would definitely not recommend this opticians.

I have booked an appointment here on more than one occasion only to be told when I arrived that they had no record of my appointment (even though I had proof as they had written out an appointment card for me)

When I booked another appointment I was rang 10 minutes before I was due to arrive
and was told that the opticians grandmother had died and so my appointment was cancelled.

I will never bother with this opticians again. Their next excuse might be that the dog ate the appointment book.

Very modern practice with kind knowledgable staff. Real focus on eye health as well as latest range of glasses. I take medication that can affect your eyes and the optician was bang upto date with my treatment and side effects. I have sent my mother to her who has a complex form of glaucoma, I was so impressed with the practice. It is busy but they will always spend as much time as you need with you. Clean, friendly and really accessible. Being opposite Thorntons is a big plus too!
