During the 7 weeks I used the daycare my previously healthy and happy dog suffered severe cough, flu, stomach bug and a skin infection.Despite a possibility of these being further transmitted, he was willingly taken in.I spent around £600 on vet bills during this period. He also became stressed and I learnt he had been kept in a cage during the days.After withdrawing my dog I was told I have to give a 1 month's notice and despite refusing to take my dog there for another month I was told I am liable to hand out almost £900 or I will be taken to court. The owner seemed money grabbing and rude.

Both my dogs have had consistently great attention, training and care by Lucy and her team at Happy Dogs. I never worry about leaving them and have been able to continue enjoying my life despite the constraints of a puppy and cross elderly dog as a result of the back up I have received from the Happy Dog team. I could not recommend them more highly.

My Wire Fox Terrier has been attending Happy Dogs day care for the past 3 years. Staff collect him and return him home every day. They have never failed. The staff are very skilled and caring in their dealings with the dogs. It's great to have your dog with other dogs getting lots of exercise.

On arrival with my 9 month old puppy the owner was extremely rude and unwelcoming.Tried selling me an all in one wetsuit and snapped at me when didn't want to purchase it.When my friend the next day went to collect my puppy ( I informed her of this on arrival) she refused to let him have my puppy,was rude slammed the door and I had to call her,was abused down the phone and worried Re my puppy's welfare.She is not a dog lover more like a money maker clearly in the wrong job.My puppy was very dehydrated and Hungary like he'd not been watered or fed for 24 hours.If you love your dog do not tak

We are very sorry that you had a bad experience. The reality is we care about our dogs and do not like them to get soaking wet in the rain and to make all the dog beds wet. We do not like people knocking on the window or the door as this disturbs the dogs. We are also very security conscious here and had we been told the name of your friend picking up your dog, we would have given Charlie to him. Charlie had a very enjoyable stay here, ate all of his food and of course had been given a constant supply of clean fresh water. I am sorry that you have chosen to put an anonymous review up. It would have been helpful if you gave us constructive criticisms. We care very much about our pet's and customers' at Happy Dogs, that is why we have many happy customers and dogs. I have Happy Dogs and have been running it for 14 happy years, I love dogs and everything about them its a lifestyle, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year not just a job.
