Am always one for supporting local independent businesses so I went there with my dog to buy him a harness.
I was Immediately was given the ‘Pretty Woman’ treatment, ignored by staff then when plucked up the courage to ask for assistance the older lady with short blond hair was very sarcastic with me because she thought I could not afford to shop there and was wasting their time.
I left and ending up being forced to hand my money to a Chain pet shop ‘Pets At Home’ down the road as I was desperate. They helped fit my dog into a perfect fitting Harness and saved the day. Thank you PAH.

Always extremely helpful staff very very friendly, polite and caring, this shop always has a wide range of products available and if they don't they will try their best to get what you want will also deliver heavy items like cat litter or heavy dog or cat bags if you live locally I always try to use this shop if I can as far as I'm concerned the best pet shop in South East London.
I love this pet shop. The people here are super friendly, helpful and down to earth. They have excellent products and will even deliver heavy cat litter etc to your home for no extra charge if you live locally. The house parrot and cockatoo are worth the visit alone. 100% caring, professional and knowledgable. Local treasure.

this is one of south London friendly little shops and a must for pet owners to have a go and see, a great range of goods for almost all pets,i could spend an hour just talking to the parrots in side the shop.
a polite team of people are there and are very knowledgeable about there stock.
A Truly wonderful store. The staff are always so friendly and exceptionally helpful. I am also incredibly pleased to see they are soon to stock reptiles and the food for them. Always a pain to have to travel so far to feed my gecko. Now I won't have to go anywhere else.
Best pet shop ever! Kind and helpful staff. Good advice and great home delivery service and a parrot that says hi when you walk in! This place is an institution and in relation to the bad review- no one is perfect I am sure sometimes people have a bad day. If you are a regular customer you will know this is not the norm!
Don't agree with the negative reviews at all! Staff are amazingly helpful when I visit and I also get a home delivery service which is always on time with a very friendly delivery girl. My dog (Frankie, Golden retriever) loves to visit the shop as they always make a fuss of him. Best pet shop for miles around!

We have used Whites for a few years now and the staff have always been extremely helpful. They are very experienced and have taken us through everything that we have needed with lots of recommendations and suggestions. A really good pet shop and a great source of advice.

Rude, unhelpful staff that treats the customers as if they were wasting their time. I almost got told off for asking questions and there were two customers waiting to be served when the members of staff happily were sharing cups of tea by the counter. Horrible place that I dread to come back!
