Coulsdon Pets Centre

Very rude and disinterested staff, no idea about customer service and experience. Not a good range of products and what is there looks like it’s been there for years. The shop is cramped, dirty and smells awful. I feel sorry for the animals housed there. I’d rather give more deserving small businesses my hard earned money.

I visited this pet shop today and was 'served' by the most rudest assistant. I went to buy some bedding for my daughter's hamster and couldn't remember what type of bedding we usually buy as I'm not the one who buys it, and couldn't see it on the shelf. When I tried to get some help, trying to guess which bedding it was, eg straw, she rudely snapped at everything I said. No you can't use that, and when I told her we bought it in Pets at home she unhelpfully snapped, she'd never been in there so wouldn't know! I have used this shop for many years and have always found it to be excellent. I moved to Epsom from Coulsdon 6 years ago and we still travel back if we want a Hamster or Guinea Pig! Before that I was travelling from Caterham to use the shop. They stock a wide range of supplies and the staff are very helpful. My children ask to go there to look at the pets even if we do not need anything. I would recommend you take a look, there is lots there.
