We bought out gorgeous little puppy from here Last September (2012). At the time we were having our kitchen rejuvenated at the time (the pup was an impulse buy, yet our best decision ever!) As we were concerned about the fat there was building work going on, they agreed to hold on to the puppy for us, free of charge, until the houe was in a suitable and safe condition. He has grown into the most beautiful and well behaved (and importantly, healthy)puppy and would have no doubts about purchasing another puppy from their!

Since the shop has been under new management, it's been kept tidy and clean. The animals are well looked after. I bought a female guinea pig 9 month ago and she is in perfect health. Since then I gave them two young guinea pigs as I was unable to look after and they took good care of them and they ended up selling them.
Nothing bad to say and the staff is very welcoming and friendly!
I go there regularly to buy my pet food and bedding.

I bought my dog at this shop. The staff were friendly and my dog was healthy, happy and we have never had any problems.

This place has been given a lot of really bad reviews and I have heard some horrible stories. However, I needed a cage for my ferret and went in there, they had one in stock and we were sorted.

Whilst I was in the shop I had a look around and all of the staff were VERY friendly and helpful, if I asked a question and one person didn't know the answer they would go and ask a colleague which I thought was very nice of them instead of just saying "I dunno mate sorry."

I looked around the corner at the section where they keep the animals and I didn't see any mess, I didn't see any empty bowls or mistreated animals. As a VERY avid animal lover if I had felt that any of the animals in there were mistreated I would've called the RSPCA immediately. They carried a lot of stock and I didn't struggle to find anything I would need at all in there.

The shop itself is a little cramped I must admit and tidiness is a bit of an issue however I would have no problems going back there and buying an animal from them, as a matter of fact I will be going there tonight to get a couple more baby ferret kits and I would recommend anyone to try here if they are local.

I believe the store is under new management and I have seen nothing of the bad reputation this store has received in the past so I would recommend that all who may have had bad experiences go back and have a look for yourself and maybe you'll change your mind.

I visit the store regularly for all my pet food and bedding and I hope that I never have to see an animal that is poorly kept or unwell, however, if I do then I will be the first person around to complain.
