Having recently had a milestone year, my lifelong friends and I have been reminiscing about our childhood, including time spent in Tooting. One highlight of our early 20s was an investment in a pair of 'Kostas' handmade boots. The 1960s fashion at that time was to have them made skin tight. It was a delight to be able to choose our own colour leather (mine was burgundy) and then the excitement of going to pick them up. The leather was really high quality so lasted a long time.

His name is Angelo and he has kept his busiiness at this address for many years and I for one have felt ay home when ever I cross the road at tje crossing which is towards his shop and I see the metal green painted old fashioned shop window frame and brautiful gold coligraphy on the shop front window.
