Have just had some very precious black suede Spanish boots resoled and heeled - they came back looking almost like new. I've used this business over a number of years and they always do a brilliant job - well worth the trip to Waterloo. This is the only place I would trust with designer shoes and boots - absolutely the best shoe repairers in London!

And yet again, my shoes come back almost like a new pair - took 5 pairs to Voo for re-soling, his workmanship is second to none. It's a trek across the river from where he used to be on the Strand, but well worth the time and effort.

A fantastic service I took a pair of Chelsea boots I love and they were able to re heel and repair in a day and the quality is exceptional at a good price.

I took in 2 pairs of boots for repair having read the glowing reviews and now I certainly won't be going anywhere else in future! What a fantastic and knowledgeable service and so friendly too. I received excellent advice; they recommended I take one pair back and repaired the other pair (they look better than when I first bought them)for a very reasonable price. When I went back some weeks later, the gentlemen instantly recognised me and gave me more helpful advice on which shops to try for larger sized shoes for women. An excellent service and highly recommended.

I got some boots re-heeled and resoled there. The last time I needed another pair of boots re-heeling, the cobbler I used took a week and although the work done was satisfactory (apart from not being able to colour match the black filler with the beige wooden boot heel) they charged me nearly £40. These guys on the Strand did a better job, in 24hrs, and charged £24.99; could not be happier.

I would also like to reiterate an earlier comment - I would trust them with my most expensive shoes/boots!

I took them a pair of walking boots - Ecco, maybe ten years old but really comfortable - the soft composite sole was wrecked. The brilliant people at Strand consulted manufacturers, experts and even took them to a trade fair to find the way to do what everyone said couldn't be done. They took some time but I now have my boots back, really comfortable and good for another ten years. Really impressed with their workmanship and customer service. I found them through this site and couldn't recommend them more.

These guys are the absolute pinnacle of shoe repairs/dry cleaning service. I have used this service on and off for some time, and am always delighted at the level of service on offer and the superb craftsmanship on display. Although I work locally, I would travel to use this outlet over any that happen to be closer.

The staff I met were friendly, efficient and knowledgable. The 4 pairs I took in for mending on Saturday were repaired by late Monday afternoon.

But above all, the repairs were done beautifully - new soles and heals blending nicely with the old, heals retouched, leather polished and revitalised.

Really great craftmanship all round and well worth the cost of the repair to have four pairs of well loved shoes looking almost as good as new.
